Optiv + ClearShark is on the lookout for a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to spearhead, manage, and deliver compliance-oriented cybersecurity and IT advisory services. This role will primarily concentrate on Zero Trust frameworks and various cybersecurity themes, requiring a strong commitment to providing reliable and precise advisory services to a diverse range of Federal and non-Federal clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engagement Delivery: Execute all tasks outlined in the scope of work while adhering to standard operating procedures independently.
  • Facilitate discussions with clients to thoroughly analyze and comprehend their needs and objectives.
  • Support Associate, Level I, and Level II Consultants on complex assignments.
  • Lead technical discussions with clients to ascertain their engineering requirements.
  • Oversee the technical support strategy for clients during and post-project implementation.
  • Act as the escalation point for intricate issues as necessary.
  • Document project progress, challenges, and resolutions in a clear and timely manner.
  • Consistently review personal work to identify and enhance methods for producing high-quality results.
  • Review the work of Associate, Level I, and Level II Consultants to guide them in producing quality outcomes.

Engagement Management:

  • Monitor and approve timecards and expense reports for team members.
  • Serve as a mentor for Associate, Level I, and Level II Consultants.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for each team member, along with quarterly feedback sessions.
  • Report any team-related issues to Principal leadership, as well as any commendations or positive feedback.

Sales and Client Engagement:

  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain availability standards for responding to client inquiries.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to clients.
  • Identify and relay cross-sell and up-sell opportunities with the account team across services.

Talent Development:

  • Engage proactively in obtaining and maintaining certifications and enhancing technical proficiency in line with industry standards.
  • Provide leadership with insights on necessary training and development.
  • Actively seek mentorship for assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Offer training opportunities to team members in various growth areas.

Strategy, Brand Leadership, and Operations:

  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives regarding Optiv + ClearShark's service offerings, including but not limited to: blog posts, workshops, and panels.
  • Oversee the formulation of new Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide Principal leadership with insights on opportunities to expand the Optiv + ClearShark service portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance if deemed necessary in the future.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity and infrastructure concepts.
  • CISSP and CGEIT certifications are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of governance and compliance, particularly with FAR, DFARs, CUI, and CMMC.
  • Broad knowledge of FedRAMP and IL constructs.
  • Experience in leadership concepts and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Experience in leading teams, preferably managing tasking, resolving personnel issues, and providing actionable feedback.
  • Ability to communicate complex messages clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to meet client needs.
