Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring that they are providing the highest level of care and adhering to our facility's policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Kansas or a compact multi-state license.
- College degree in Practical Nursing.
- Valid BLS certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare facility, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
