Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at QS Nurses. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, providing medical treatments, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring that they are providing the highest level of care to our residents.
- Coordinate daily duties, including scheduling and assignments, to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.
- Monitor medical charts and provide compassionate care and assistance to patients and families.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining accurate records and reports as needed.
Requirements:
- Current KS or Compact Multi-State License
- College Degree in Practical Nursing
- Valid BLS
- Prior experience in a healthcare facility required, unless in an approved Preceptor Program
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassionate with sound judgment and problem-solving skills
