EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to work as Commercial Insurance Inspectors. As a Commercial Insurance Inspector, you will be responsible for evaluating businesses to identify hazards and improve safety, mitigating risk for our insurance company clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate commercial operations, including retail, restaurants, hotels, apartments, construction jobsites, churches, schools, etc.
  • Assess businesses for Property and General Liability coverage, as well as other commercial insurance lines of business including Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, Inland Marine and Builders Risk.
  • Provide risk control reports to insurance industry clients, containing information necessary to underwrite a commercial insurance policy and recommendations to control and/or correct potential loss producing conditions associated with that policy.
  • Manage assignments, successfully secure customer appointments within a local territory, and complete work assignments on time.
