Key Responsibilities:
- Execute high-quality mechanical and electrical tasks with a focus on safety.
- Disassemble and upgrade heavy lift machinery, including mechanical, lifting, drive train, low voltage, and hydraulic systems.
- Adhere to instructions, schematics, and blueprints for precise execution.
- Utilize part identification and inventory management systems effectively.
- Conduct repair operations using hand tools proficiently.
- Employ diagnostic instruments for troubleshooting.
- Interpret technical manuals for guidance.
- Operate heavy machinery for inspection, troubleshooting, and testing purposes.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
- Comply with the 5S organizational methodology.
Essential Skills and Qualifications: - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of 12- and 24-volt systems, ideally with an automotive background.
- Physical capability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Possession of personal mechanic tools; specialized tools will be provided by the company.
Educational Background and Experience: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of three years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics.
- Basic computer proficiency is required.
- Preference for candidates with an Auto Mechanic or electrical associate degree or equivalent certification; certification may substitute for one year of experience.
