Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our heavy lift equipment.

  • Conduct mechanical and electrical tasks with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Disassemble and retrofit various heavy lift machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Follow detailed instructions, schematics, and technical blueprints.
  • Utilize inventory control systems for part identification.
  • Perform repairs using hand tools and diagnostic instruments.
  • Interpret and apply information from technical manuals.
  • Operate heavy machinery for inspection, troubleshooting, and testing purposes.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to the 5S organizational methodology.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of 12- and 24-volt electrical systems, preferably with an automotive background.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks involving bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Possession of personal mechanic tools; specialized tools will be provided by the company.

    Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Preference for candidates with an Auto Mechanic or electrical associate degree or relevant certification, with the possibility of substituting certification for one year of experience.
