AML Policy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director/Associate, AML Policy. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, coordinating and tracking priority follow-up actions, and compiling and managing statistics to assist in the development of risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on various AML Policy areas, including sanctions, environmental crime, and proliferation financing.
- Assist in coordination and tracking of priority follow-up actions across agencies in the lead up to Singapore's 5th round FATF Mutual Evaluation.
- Compile and manage statistics that MAS collates across agencies as Secretariat in the lead up to the 5th FATF mutual evaluation.
- Prepare review of papers of the FATF relating meetings, including compiling documents for review and setting out of issues tables.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a policy, international, and/or regulatory supervisory role.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, able to dissect policy issues and offer useful options and workable solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong data analytical skills.
- Team player who is proactive and self-motivated, with a keen interest in shaping outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and drive multiple projects to produce quality outcomes in a timely manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to positively influence internal and external stakeholders.
This is a 1-year contract position. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
