Position Overview:
As a Telemetry RN, you will:
1. Assess and evaluate assigned patients, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care.
2. Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
3. Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice.
4. Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and their families about conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
5. Utilize your experience and judgment to achieve care objectives.
Work Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each, with varying days.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- An active NM Registered Nurse (RN) License or a Compact RN License.
- An Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
- A minimum of one year of experience in Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing is preferred.
