Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry to fill a 13-week contract at a state-of-the-art hospital in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg / Telemetry setting. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to adult patients with general medical conditions or who have undergone surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed.
Requirements:
  • Current state license in good standing with State License Board.
  • 12 months M/S experience in an acute-care setting within the last 3 years.
  • At minimum, current BLS required (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS).
  • Medical Records.
