  • Facility Oversight: Ensure the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment through regular maintenance and inventory management.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with architects and engineers on design and construction projects, ensuring alignment with 4-H objectives.
  • Advisory Role: Provide guidance to the State 4-H Leader on facility-related matters and maintain communication regarding operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a baccalaureate degree in a relevant field.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Pool Operator, Drinking Water License, ServSafe Certification, and First Aid/CPR/AED.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, budget management, and facility operations.

Skills Required:

  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in preparing reports and utilizing management systems.

This role is essential in supporting the mission of Georgia 4-H, which serves approximately 100,000 visitors annually. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational capabilities of the facilities while fostering a positive environment for all stakeholders.
