Job Title: Structures Technician


Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Structures Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As a Structures Technician, you will be responsible for disassembling, repairing, and reassembling heavy-lift helicopter airframes, primarily Boeing CH-47 models.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble heavy-lift helicopter airframes
  • Inspect and fabricate replacement parts as necessary
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools to remove, inspect, and repair airframe components
  • Review task cards and maintenance manuals to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks
  • Document maintenance actions and record results

Requirements:


  • 4+ years of experience in aircraft structures
  • Strong knowledge of heavy-lift helicopter airframes and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Work Environment:


This is a fully on-site position in a heavy-lift helicopter fleet MRO and rebuild hangar. The work schedule will be 5 days a week for several weeks, followed by a 4-day schedule.
