Position Overview

As a vital member of the healthcare team, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) collaborate closely with clinic personnel to deliver exceptional patient care. This role encompasses both administrative and clinical responsibilities, including the upkeep of patient records, preparing examination rooms, and assisting healthcare providers during patient assessments.

Work Environment

Openings are available at various clinics in the Spokane area, covering a wide range of specialties including Primary Care, Family Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, and more. During the interview process, we will discuss your preferences and the current openings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical tasks and manage phone communications.
  • Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Utilize medical terminology effectively.
  • Demonstrate hands-on clinical abilities.

Essential Skills

  • Measure vital signs such as pulse and blood pressure.
  • Update patient medical records with medications and allergies.
  • Conduct medical procedures, including specimen collection and lab tests.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Washington State Licensed Practical Nurse license upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Understanding of nursing principles, infection control protocols, and patient confidentiality policies.
