Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Specialist V to join our team at the Office of the Attorney General. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing grants, reviewing applications, and ensuring compliance with grant programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grants, including conducting desk audits and reviews for program compliance and preparing reports of findings and corrective action needed.
  • Review and recommend approval for change requests and invoices submitted by subgrantees.
  • Provide technical assistance to subgrantees on program requirements.
  • Monitor budgets, expenditures, and reporting requirements of subgrantees.
  • Assist in the implementation of grants management, including budget, expenditure, reporting, and correspondence requirements of the grant program.
  • Prepare periodic progress and evaluation reports on grant activities.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience in accounting, banking, accounts receivable, payroll processing, or a related field. Preference will be given to those with previous grant management experience.
