About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Medical Lab Technician Level II to join our team in Malden, Massachusetts.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment, where you will be responsible for processing specimens, maintaining quality and productivity, and ensuring the smooth flow of specimens through the laboratory operations area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process specimens for testing, including accessioning, verification, and labeling
  • Perform troubleshooting duties for coordinators and clinicians, and notify providers of collection or processing errors
  • Responsible for receiving, sorting, and prioritizing all samples arriving in Lab Control, and maintaining sample integrity per established procedures
  • Assist with canisters and phone when not on runs, and store and discard specimens per established protocols
  • Perform end-of-shift courier duties as directed, and maintain logs and transit sheets per established procedure
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years of previous laboratory experience preferred
