Key Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation of detailed design documents, including plans, technical specifications, calculations, reports, and permits.
- Collect and gather information from various sources, including catalogs and online resources.
- Develop effective writing skills for both technical and non-technical applications.
- Assist with the review of shop drawings, submittals, and contractor requisitions.
- Communicate findings of field inspections and issues to immediate managers in a timely manner.
- Perform field work, including construction observation, sample collection, and other tasks as assigned.
- Prepare field inspection reports in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain communication documentation and project files.
- Expand technical competence through training and professional development.
- Network and participate in professional organizations.
- Attend internal and external trainings as applicable.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
- 4-year Engineering Technology degree with one year of experience and successful passing of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (FE).
- 2-year Engineering Science/Technology degree with 3 years of experience and successful passing of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (FE).
- Minimum zero to three years of experience with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
- Inter-Engineer (IE) certification.
- Effective technical writing skills, proficiency in MS Office, AutoCad, and Deltek Vision, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
P.W. Grosser Consulting offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 and a comprehensive benefits package. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates.
