ROLE OVERVIEW

Oversee and facilitate the strategic planning activities for the comprehensive production schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize, issue, and monitor purchase orders with a reliable supplier network.
  • Oversee the acquisition of stock items necessary for production needs.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding delivery timelines and system modifications.
  • Evaluate client demands and supplier capabilities concerning order fulfillment times.
  • Work in conjunction with manufacturing, customer service, and supervisory teams to track order progress.
  • Control inventory levels and manage incoming materials for customer order fulfillment.
  • Assess and authorize planned orders for the Production department.
  • Address daily procurement challenges and shortages.
  • Identify and resolve barriers to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Create tools, templates, and audits to enhance order flow management.
  • Rectify material and billing discrepancies.
  • Assist in reporting for plant management.
  • Ensure production timelines are in sync with the company's strategy and customer delivery expectations.
  • Carry out other assigned responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-3 years of experience in production scheduling.
  • APICS certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics AX is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to handle challenging situations and adapt to evolving circumstances.
  • Exhibited professionalism and flexibility.
