POSITION SUMMARY:

Franciscan Health is in search of a skilled Board Certified General Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus on Hands and Upper Extremities to enhance our reputable department. Our dedicated team of orthopedic specialists provides a thorough orthopedic program aimed at addressing a wide range of musculoskeletal issues, including those related to bones, joints, tendons, muscles, ligaments, and the spine.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling Hands and Upper Extremities cases. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction are essential. The selected individual will demonstrate outstanding interpersonal abilities and work closely with the existing medical team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS:

  • Physician will alternate between clinic and hospital settings.
  • Work schedule will be determined by patient needs and operating room availability.
  • On-call duties: 1:3 rotation.
  • Average outpatient caseload: a specified number of patients per day.
  • Typical surgical workload: 3 to 6 procedures daily.
  • Be part of a well-established group utilizing the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Access to reliable instruments and equipment.
