POSITION SUMMARY:

Franciscan Health is in search of a skilled Board Certified General Orthopedic Surgeon with a specialization in Hands and Upper Extremities. This role is situated within a well-established orthopedic department, dedicated to providing comprehensive care for a wide range of musculoskeletal issues affecting bones, joints, tendons, muscles, ligaments, and the spine.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing Hands and Upper Extremities cases. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction are essential. Exceptional interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with the existing medical team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS:

  • Responsibilities will include a balance of clinic and hospital duties.
  • Work schedule will be determined by patient needs and operating room availability.
  • On-call duties will follow a 1:3 rotation.
  • Expected outpatient volume: patients per day.
  • Average surgical load: 3 - 6 procedures daily.
  • Access to advanced techniques and technology.
  • Utilization of reliable instruments and equipment.
