We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Presbyterian Homes & Services. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing quality clinical nutritional care and programs for residents of our communities.
About the Role:The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for implementing established nutritional care programs, assessing residents' nutritional needs, and developing personalized care plans. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care that meets their unique needs.
Responsibilities:- Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans
- Implement and maintain procedures for residents at nutritional risk
- Monitor the nutritional components of medical records for completeness and accuracy
- Attend resident care conferences and contribute nutritional care information
- Conduct patient education and counseling as needed
- Plan and approve menus, and oversee implementation
- Implement specialized and modified diets as ordered by physicians
- Oversee meal preparation and service as designated on site
- Assist in coordinating recipe development and menu standardization
- Monitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, and quality standards
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
- Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or Registry Eligible
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for long term care facilities and food service industry
- Experience working in Long Term Care and/or Transitional Care preferred
