As part of our growing team, the ultrasound technologist will contribute to delivering quality imaging care in a human-centered environment. This role requires a strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse patient needs.

The ideal candidate is a skilled professional with 3+ years of experience practicing as an Ultrasound Technician. They must have completed an accredited program in the United States and hold current registration in the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. The successful applicant will also possess BLS certification.

This is a full-time opportunity located at our Duboce Triangle office in San Francisco, CA. Some flexibility regarding location may be required.

Job Description

This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures under minimal supervision. Responsibilities include recording exams, ensuring high-quality images, effectively explaining procedures to patients, maintaining records in our EMR system, inspecting equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including extremity, abdominal, pelvic (non-OB), soft tissue, scrotal, thyroid, and other examinations
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all procedures performed
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients regarding exam procedures and results
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full-time experience as an Ultrasound Technician
  • Accredited Ultrasound Tech Program completion in the United States
  • Current Registration in the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
  • BLS certification
