This role is essential within our consulting team, focusing on identifying and articulating problem statements, assessing solution alternatives, and providing informed recommendations. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive design, architecture, and process documentation, as well as executing the deployment strategy. Additionally, you will facilitate knowledge transfer to ensure that our clients receive impactful consulting solutions that adapt to the evolving global landscape.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in SAP Service Management (SM) and Customer Service (CS).
  • In-depth knowledge of Notifications, Service Orders, Warranty, and Billing processes.
  • Expertise in Contracts, including Value, Quantity, and Service aspects.
  • Experience with revenue recognition processes.
  • Hands-on experience with DIP profiles and Resource-related billing.
  • Familiarity with the Repair Order process.
  • Proficient in Customer Service Master Data management, including Equipment Master, Warranty Master, Functional Location, and Counters.
  • Knowledge of IDocs, including partner profile setup, segment creation, and IDoc testing.
  • Experience interfacing with both SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects.
  • Extensive experience in SAP projects, particularly in full-life cycle implementations for SAP SM/CS.
  • Familiarity with SAP enhancement technologies such as user exits, BADIs, IDOCs, and BAPIs.
  • Capability to independently execute designs and provide alternative solutions for complex business requirements.
  • Solid understanding of Sales and Distribution, Repairs, Service Notifications, Warranty, and Contracts processes.
  • Ability to read and debug ABAP code.
  • Hands-on project experience in a multi-system integrated environment, focusing on technical enhancements to SAP.
  • Experience in writing functional and technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces.
  • Knowledge of intercompany postings and pro forma invoices.
  • Collaboration with business users to define scope and gather business requirements.

This position involves both sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Effective communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face interactions is essential. Travel may be required based on job needs.
