Developmental Occupational Therapy is seeking enthusiastic, collaborative, and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (CFs are encouraged to apply) to become part of our dedicated team. We focus on pediatric Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy, providing services in a clinic environment and through partnerships with local educational institutions.

Our caseloads can be tailored to your preferences, whether they be school-based, clinical, or a mix of both. We are committed to offering mentorship and training opportunities, particularly in pediatric feeding and augmentative and alternative communication.

For those pursuing a Clinical Fellowship (CF), we ensure a supportive match with experienced SLPs who can guide you based on your supervision requirements and interests.


Job Type:
Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

Compensation:
Salary range from $78,000 to $124,800, including a signing bonus upon acceptance of the offer

Total compensation package estimated between $86,225 - $137,885 annually

Includes health benefits, 9 paid holidays, CEU days, reimbursement for ASHA CCC renewal, vacation, sick leave, 1 day of jury duty leave, and a monthly phone stipend

Additional compensation may be available through IRA matching, incentive programs, SLPA supervision incentives, registration fees for courses, and mileage reimbursement

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will vary depending on the setting and assignment.

School-based duties may include: assessment and delivery of services as outlined in IEPs, collaboration with other professionals and families, management of caseloads, supervision of SLPA (if qualified), service tracking, billing, data collection, and attendance at IEP meetings.

Clinic-based duties may encompass: assessment, report writing, provision of therapeutic services, data collection, record keeping, insurance/billing, training for parents/caregivers, and SLPA supervision (if qualified).


Specialty areas may include: clinical assessments for insurance funding of AAC devices, participation in district-wide AAC teams for assessment, implementation, and training.

Supervision of SLPA is available for qualified SLPs interested in mentoring.

Participation in staff meetings and mandatory training sessions as required.

Education/Credentials/License Requirements:

Successful completion of:
Accredited Master's program in Speech Pathology and passing of the Praxis Examination (within CFY)

California Speech and Language Pathology License

American Speech and Hearing Association Clinical Competency Certification (ASHA-CCC) optional

Valid California driver's license (if traveling between work sites)
