Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Marotta Controls is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical products for various Aerospace customers/platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new products to meet customer requirements, including design, functional, material, and test requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications and sub-level specifications.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines, such as manufacturing, other engineering disciplines, and QA, to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
  • Perform or oversee the design and performance of product design components or major assemblies or systems in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Provide technical and priority direction to designers/drafters and ensure accuracy of all drawings/documents on the project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • 3-10 years' relevant work experience in a high technology, electro-mechanical, environment in the Aerospace and Military industries.
  • Familiarity with government contractual procurement procedures, standards, and quality requirements.
  • Exemplary verbal/written communication skills for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization and outside agents.
Work Environment:

This role interacts both in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. Local and non-local travel is required for this position (5-20%).
