Software Engineering Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a software engineering specialist, you will tackle challenges with comprehensive solutions in a dynamic, Agile setting. We seek a developer who is keen to expand their knowledge and possesses the expertise to create healthcare applications from concept to a fully operational system.

This position transcends mere coding. We require a software engineering specialist who will leverage their enthusiasm for learning new technologies and methodologies while identifying necessary system enhancements. Within our team, you will discover how to assist clients in overcoming their most significant obstacles using contemporary architectural strategies such as model-view-controller. By employing Agile lifecycle development, you will collaborate with the development team to construct a robust electronic health record system. Your contributions will ensure that the solutions developed by the team take into account the existing architecture and operational landscape, as well as future capabilities and upgrades. Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a developer, including internships or professional roles
  • Familiarity with research analysis, design, and maintenance of legacy systems
  • Background in test-driven development, requirements gathering, and system analysis
  • Experience in DevOps practices
  • Understanding of software development and user interface web applications
  • Willingness to learn additional programming languages
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with regression testing
  • Understanding of APIs, including REST or RPC architectural styles
  • Insight into front-end user requirements

Vetting Process:

Selected candidates will undergo a government investigation and may need to meet the eligibility criteria of the U.S. government client.
