Job Title: Fire Alarm CAD Drafter

Johnson Controls International is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm CAD Drafter to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating complex electrical systems drawings, including conceptual presentation drawings, floor plan layouts, and electrical interconnection drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare highly complex electrical systems drawings, including conceptual presentation drawings, floor plan layouts, and electrical interconnection drawings.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure accurate and complete drawings.
  • Maintain project drawing files and associated records and documentation in an orderly condition.
  • Operate and maintain CAD equipment, plotter, and printers.
  • Perform other system configurations and calculations in accordance with project specifications and other project documentation.

Requirements:

  • High School/Trade School graduate or Associates Degree in electronics or equivalent experience.
  • Four to Six years CAD drafting experience with the latest AutoCAD version.
  • Knowledgeable with AutoCAD, MS office products, and Simplex building systems products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time in office and meeting settings.
  • Use of computer keyboard and attention to PC monitor often for prolonged periods.
