About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and self-sufficient individual to manage all aspects of our distribution warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire warehouse, from receiving and storing inventory to shipping orders and maintaining the facility. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Perform administrative activities associated with warehouse operations and the prevention of inventory shrink, including performing cycle counts.
- Ensure that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner; and maintain required records in conformance with company policy.
- Train and ensure all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations to include SOPs, Work Flows, WMS/ERP system processes.
- Prepare shipments of materials in accordance with company policy.
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience in the vinyl wrap industry is a plus
- Computer skills including MS Office and Inventory Management software
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
