About the Role:
The Breastfeeding Specialist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, providing education and support to breastfeeding mothers, and identifying and addressing variances in our Breastfeeding Center Program. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare providers and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients seeking breastfeeding expertise
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for breastfeeding mothers
  • Provide education and support to families, staff, and providers on breastfeeding best practices
  • Prioritize and problem-solve to meet changes in patient status/condition
  • Document all interactions and interventions

Requirements:
  • National Certification as IBCLC
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • Hands-on experience supporting and educating breastfeeding women
  • Evaluation of Services experience

Salary:
$62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience.
