Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Prevention Professional to join our team at Lawrence Hall. As a key member of our therapeutic milieu, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional well-being and stability of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a calm and composed demeanor in challenging situations, utilizing Therapeutic Crisis Intervention techniques to de-escalate conflicts and promote a positive atmosphere.
  • Work collaboratively with school and residential staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Enhance the elements of our therapeutic milieu to prevent crisis situations and foster a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience working with youth.
  • Advanced skills in mediation/conflict management and restorative justice.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence.
