Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to lead the development of Wi-R based wearables, including smartphones, smartglasses, smartwatches, earbuds, and more. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with experts in microelectronics, wireless communication, electromagnetics, and biology to design and develop ultra-low-power body-area-communication ICs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of Wi-R based wearables, including design, prototyping, and testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop ultra-low-power body-area-communication ICs
  • Develop and implement high-performance, low-power design solutions for wearable devices
  • Conduct analysis and characterization of key systems engineering architectural trade-offs, power budgeting, and design of high-performance, low-power products
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Strong experience in analyzing key systems engineering architectural trade-offs, power budgeting, analysis, and characterization, and design of high-performance, low-power products
  • Strong experience in measurement and design with uV level signals, preferably on wearables or any other on-body, in-body device
  • Embedded programming experience
  • Experience with lab measurements, characterization, debugging
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of compact, low-power, low-noise frontend circuit design
  • Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence Orcad, Altium, or equivalent
  • Experience with use of standard electrical engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, high-speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and function generators
  • Experience with mixed domain circuit design, filter design, operation/instrumentation amplifiers, ADC/DACs, power supply design, high-speed differential circuits, uControllers, uProcessors, and programmable logic based development
