Job Summary:

K2M Design is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for commercial and public buildings.


Key Responsibilities:
Collects and prepares data/information and performs engineering calculations.
Responsible for the production of CAD drawings that are of high quality, consistent, complete, and accurate.
Develops technical specifications & data sheets.
Assists in field work, checking installations, and problem-solving activities.
Performs calculation checking and vendor drawing reviews.
Interacts with other departments and suppliers to obtain pertinent information.

Knowledgeable in the design of electrical systems including lighting, power, life safety, security, and communication systems.


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science from an ABET accredited college or university.
Experience in the field of AEC Engineering.
Commercial Lighting, Power, and Fire Alarm Design Experience.
Photometric Software Proficiency is a plus.
Licensed Professional Engineer, strongly preferred.
Revit proficiency, required.
