About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector III to join our team at Medtronic. As a Quality Inspector III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming inspections using drawings and specifications to follow inspection procedure.
  • Generate non-conforming reports on product.
  • Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
  • Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
  • Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
Requirements
  • Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through prior work experience and/or education.
  • Requires minimum of 4 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
  • Must have experience using calipers, micrometer, height gages, pin gauges, digital multimeters and microscope.
  • Must have strong GDP background.
  • May require vocational training and/or certification.
Benefits and Compensation

Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. The starting base rate of pay for this position is $25.00 per hour. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
