We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs of hotel equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
- Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration.
- Parts inventory and requisition experience.
- Exterior and interior surface preparation and painting experience.
