We are seeking a skilled Painter/Carpenter to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
- Assure each day's activities and problems that occur are communicated to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background.
- Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
- Supervisory experience.
