Job Title: Director - Healthcare Policy

Capstone LLC is seeking a highly qualified Director - Healthcare Policy to join our team. As a senior policy analyst, you will serve as a key advisor to our institutional investor clients, providing in-depth analysis and insights on healthcare policy developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the impact of public policy on publicly traded securities in the healthcare sector.
  • Develop and maintain market-leading coverage of the healthcare sector, including payors, pharma, providers, and medical devices.
  • Author high-quality research reports and presentations for our capital markets clients.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Host client conference calls and in-person events.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in the healthcare sector, including payors, pharma, providers, and medical devices.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to clients through written reports and presentations.
  • Strong client servicing and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and discern high-quality investment ideas.
  • Self-motivation, independence, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Requirements:
  • Four-year bachelor's degree required.
  • Graduate degree or CFA preferred.
  • At least 12 years of experience in policy research, healthcare equity research, investment banking, or a related field.
  • High academic achievement.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Capstone LLC offers a competitive benefits package, including health, vision, dental insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan. The expected compensation for this role is $190,000+ base salary plus bonus, commensurate with experience.
