Teaching Opportunity in Sociology

Bentley University is seeking qualified candidates for adjunct positions teaching introductory Sociology courses. Job Summary:

We are seeking adjunct lecturers to teach introductory Sociology courses, including courses on social inequality, social theory, and research methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sociology and experience teaching at the college level.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach introductory Sociology courses, including lectures and discussions
  • Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi and assignments
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Sociology or related field
  • Experience teaching at the college level
  • Strong background in Sociology and research methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
