Job Title: Adjunct Lecturer, French
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Lecturer, French to join our team at Bentley University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French language courses, creating an effective classroom environment, and promoting the study of languages.
Responsibilities:
- Teach French Basic and Intermediate courses (MLFR101, MLFR102, MLFR201, and MLFR202) and French for Business.
- Create an effective classroom environment that fosters students' curiosity and ability to practice their language skills.
- Deliver course content that meets learning outcomes and encourages students' active participation in the classroom and beyond.
- Promote the study of languages.
- Collaborate in the development and continued assessment of learning outcomes for use in program reviews and curriculum revision.
- Hold office hours.
Requirements:
- MA required. Native or near-native competency in French is required.
- PhD preferred.
