Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert psychiatric care to patients in an inpatient facility setting. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
  • Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions.
  • Prescribing and managing medications as necessary.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that every patient receives the highest level of care.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Medical Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DOS) from an accredited institution.
  • Current certification by the Board of Psychiatry.
  • A valid medical license in the state of North Carolina.
  • BLS and DEA License.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatry.
