We are in search of a meticulous and detail-oriented Electrical Quality Assurance Field Engineer. In this position, you will be tasked with ensuring that electrical products and systems comply with established quality standards and regulations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and executing quality assurance standards and protocols for electrical products.
  • Conducting inspections and overseeing the testing of electrical systems and components to verify adherence to quality benchmarks.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
  • Generating detailed reports on quality discrepancies and the corresponding remedial measures.
  • Collaborating closely with construction teams, engineers, and project managers to promptly address and resolve any quality-related issues.
  • Coordinating effectively with subcontractors and vendors as necessary.
  • Providing thorough training and guidance to construction personnel on quality standards and best practices to ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols.
  • Identifying and rectifying quality-related issues and non-conformities swiftly to maintain project timelines and uphold the highest quality standards.
  • Actively engaging in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and overall project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in quality assurance within the construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in utilizing QA tools and software.
