Key Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care, adhering to individual care plans and resident preferences.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support with meals, including serving and set up of meal trays, and assisting with feeding.
  • Assist with ambulation, transferring, lifting, and repositioning residents, following established safe lifting procedures.
  • Document resident care and vital signs as instructed.
  • Report changes in resident condition, possible abuse, or crimes against a resident, and near-miss accidents or accidents with or without injury.
Requirements
  • CNA certification in the state of North Carolina.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for prolonged periods, with occasional bending, squatting, or reaching.
  • Ambulatory throughout the facility.
