About the Role:Cleaners play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all restaurant areas, including employee and guest restrooms, kitchen spaces, dining areas, and storage zones. This position also involves laundering towels using the washing machine.

Job Responsibilities & Tasks:
  • Comprehends and adheres to all guidelines regarding the cleaning chemicals utilized in the restaurant
  • Utilizes personal protective equipment to ensure safety and prevent chemical exposure
  • Employs the appropriate cleaning agents designated for each task within the restaurant
  • Maintains cleanliness, restocks, and organizes all areas of the restaurant
  • Labels all items in compliance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
  • Participates in monthly staff and janitorial meetings
Supporting Functions:
  • Ensures all kitchen areas are clean and sanitized
  • Organizes items within storage areas such as walk-in coolers and freezers
  • Lifts and moves items weighing up to 50 pounds, including boxes, bags, chairs, and tables
  • Assists with routine deep cleaning of kitchen facilities
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding proprietary information, including recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
