Inova Health System's Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to support Arrhythmia Services. This full-time position requires one weekend per month and one day per week call.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively utilize Inova Health System Inventory Management systems
- Assist RNs in explaining procedures to patients and families
- Troubleshoot equipment and place service calls to Biomedical when necessary
- Anticipate procedure flow and work with other team members to produce high-quality care
- Provide a safe environment and identify hazards immediately
Requirements:
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry in Vascular Interventional (VI), Cardiovascular (CV) or Cardiovascular Interventional (CI)
- Licensure: Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Radiologic Technologist (if position is located in a free-standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital)
- Experience: One year of work experience as a Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Education: Vocational/Technical in the area of study in Radiologic Technology; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography; Associate or higher degree preferred
