Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join its team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in a structured training program to learn MRI technology, safety protocols, and patient care procedures.
  • Complete training modules and exams as scheduled.
  • Attend educational sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to MRI imaging.
  • Prepare MRI equipment and examination rooms before procedures.
  • Safely administer starter IV and correctly utilize the power injector for exams requiring IV contrast.

Requirements:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered in radiography or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) or Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon start.
  • 2 years of clinical working experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
