POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary objective is to guarantee the secure and effective delivery of agricultural products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and maintain accurate records
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns, scheduling repairs as necessary
  • Timely completion and submission of all required logs and transportation documentation
  • Safely pick up and deliver goods
  • Adhere to all local and federal traffic laws
  • Ensure the truck and trailer are kept clean, including post-load trailer sweeping
  • Notify vendors and supervisors of any potential delays
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possession or ability to obtain a Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and be an insurable driver
  • Ability to pass DOT mandated physical and drug screening
  • Maintain a valid Class A CDL and Medical Card
  • Willingness to work extended hours during busy periods
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Familiarity with mechanical equipment and tools is preferred
  • Background in agriculture is advantageous but not mandatory
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Capability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, rail cars, stairs, and bins
  • May need to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to work in grain dust and adverse weather conditions
  • Must meet all physical demands of the role
