Chemical Engineering Faculty Position

Auburn University's Department of Chemical Engineering invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions. We seek candidates with expertise in catalysis, computational catalysis, and process systems engineering, particularly those with a focus on sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the growth of the department's strategic focus areas: energy and environment, advanced materials, computer-aided chemical engineering, and pharmaceutical/biomedical engineering.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in chemical engineering.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
- Attract and sustain externally sponsored research funding to support their research program.
- PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field at the time of employment.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of personal motivation.
- A strong commitment and potential to excel at both research and teaching in the area of chemical engineering.
Applications will be evaluated beginning November 1, 2024.
