Kitchen Assistant

BILLY GOAT TAVERN OF OOLTEWAH LLC is a unique restaurant concept that prides itself on scratch-made, farm-to-table food. We're looking for dedicated team members who share our passion for quality and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Assistant to join our BOH team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and cooking dishes
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
• Support other kitchen staff in achieving high-quality dishes and efficient service
• Work collaboratively with the management team to maintain a positive and productive work environment

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum age of 18 years
• Nightly dressed and well-groomed, adhering to company uniform and appearance policies
• The ability to lift and carry items up to 70lbs frequently
• Frequent immersion of hands in hot water, detergents, and sanitizer
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

This role involves working in a hot, damp environment, with frequent exposure to heat, humidity, and physical demands. You will be required to stand and move for extended periods, use your hands extensively, and work in a loud environment.
