Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle maintenance technologies and procedures through ongoing training and education
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a diesel technician or mechanic
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
