We are seeking a Seasonal Courtesy Clerk to join our team at Northgate Markets, Inc. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting our sales floor operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockrooms, and other areas as assigned.
- Support sales floor operations, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and maintaining visual displays.
- Assist with receiving and processing merchandise, including unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to, operating a cash register, processing transactions, and handling customer complaints.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 42 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
