Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Memory Care FT

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Memory Care unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to administer medications in compliance with Federal and State regulations, as well as Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
You will also be responsible for the admissions process, including all admission assessments and documentation. Additionally, you will complete acute and long-term care plans or service plans, and may be responsible for clinical system tracking under the direction of the director.
Other key responsibilities include providing general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community, notifying physicians and/or family members of any change in resident's health, and maintaining close communication with all departments and staff members.
You will also be responsible for providing educational meetings for residents and staff, understanding your role in the Safety & Disaster Plan, and maintaining confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
Qualifications:
Qualifications include training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program, with a focus on General nursing. You should have at least 1+ years of experience in Senior care or a related field, and hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse's License in the state where you will be practicing. Additionally, you should be CPR Certified.
Language Skills:
Acceptable proficiency in English is required to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond to emergency situations.
Technical Competencies:
Basic computer skills are necessary for this role.
Skills and Ability:
You should be able to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively. A high tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations in a calm and professional manner is also required.
