Position Summary: The Equipment Facilities Manager is tasked with overseeing a diverse range of responsibilities associated with the planning, administration, supervision, and compliance of fleet operations. Key responsibilities include procurement and lifecycle oversight, vehicle tracking and maintenance, adherence to DOT and regulatory standards, quality control of fleet data and reporting, and budget management aimed at enhancing fleet efficiency and quality.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversees daily operations related to equipment management, inventory control, and maintenance activities. Maintains accurate records of licenses, inspections, warranties, and service agreements for all organizational equipment and tools.
- Evaluates, updates, and enforces vehicle policies to ensure alignment with electronic management systems. Ensures compliance with vehicle usage standards among employees.
- Proposes modifications to policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strategically plans and organizes the use of vehicle and motor equipment resources for routine, special, and emergency operations.
- Manages the daily functions of the Fleet Management System, including data entry and the generation of necessary reports.
- Identifies and implements solutions for outstanding issues, such as mileage tracking for pool vehicles, as well as other concerns identified through analysis.
- Creates a comprehensive manual for staff guidance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience in formulating policies and procedures for fleet vehicle management and maintenance.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in fleet vehicle management.
- Familiarity with fleet management software, policies, procedures, and tracking systems for vehicle maintenance and mileage.
- Ability to document processes and create user manuals.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced and high-pressure environment requiring effective communication and a sense of urgency. The role involves managing numerous complex tasks with precision and efficiency.

Education and Experience
