Cuidado del Paciente: Evalúa, diagnostica y trata a los pacientes en el entorno clínico y/o en atención aguda, de acuerdo con el alcance de práctica definido por la Junta de Enfermería, protocolos aprobados, estándares nacionales de práctica y bajo la dirección del médico preceptor.
Documentación: Asegura una documentación oportuna y precisa del estado del paciente y las actividades de atención, incluyendo tratamientos, procedimientos y medicamentos prescritos.
Educación Continua: Mantiene la competencia clínica y se mantiene al tanto de los cambios en la gestión médica participando en diversas actividades educativas en salud.
Educación al Paciente: Proporciona a los pacientes y sus familias educación relacionada con el proceso de la enfermedad, salud y bienestar. Actúa como recurso para agencias comunitarias según sea apropiado.
- Se requiere un título de Maestría en enfermería con la licencia adecuada como Enfermero/a Practicante.
- Si el título fue obtenido en línea y no a través de un programa híbrido, debe contar con un mínimo de 2 años de experiencia laboral como Enfermero/a Practicante.
- Mínimo de 2 a 5 años de experiencia clínica como enfermero/a en un entorno adecuado para la práctica.
- Mantiene y mejora el conocimiento y habilidades en tecnología y prácticas actuales para proporcionar atención a la población adecuada. Mantiene la certificación actual de RCP de AHA.
